Astrological Perspective on 2024 Election
HISTORY
We’ve been in the age of Pisces for approximately 2000 years (think ‘fish’ symbol for Jesus). Beginning sixteen years ago with the 2008 housing bubble crash, Pluto has been in Capricorn, characterized by security, finances, stability, structure, capitalistic ideology. During this time, Pluto has been slowly transitioning through Capricorn, and in just under two weeks it will enter Aquarius (which also happens to be the broader age we're moving into). We have been feeling the effects of approaching this big transition, as they’ve been ramping up for decades.
This transition will change the transformative death/rebirth chaotic feeling away from Capricorn attributes, and into Aquarius attributes, which are characterized by individuality, and social justice.
DESTRUCTION
Regarding the idea of tearing everything down to rebuild: Either candidate would've lead to destruction. The destruction we're dealing with now, astrologically speaking, is that of big systems in general (big government, corporations, etc). You can think of destruction as the last gasp of Pluto in Capricorn. Everything that hasn't completed yet during the past 16 years — in other words, everything that hasn't yet been destroyed — is getting destroyed now in order to be rebuilt. Everyone, on all sides, is experiencing destruction & rebuilding of what they believe in. This fits into the next phase (beginning ~2 weeks), and will be in place for ~20 years.
NEW PARADIGM
In Kabbalah, 2027 is a significant year marked as pivotal turning point for collective consciousness. In Human Design, it’s the official start of the New Paradigm.
New Paradigm: This election happened during Pluto leaving Capricorn, and certainly had that tone. The next election (in another 4 years) will look very different - even the process of voting won't be the same. The system will be different from what it's essentially been during all of America’s history thus far.
FUTURE
Characteristics of Aquarius: individuality, uniqueness, grassroots. It seems like “opposing sides” as everyone in America will be building and reshaping what they want it to be (as opposed to big government doing it for us). Those who are upset right now don't realize that this is actually what they need. They think they need more government, when in actuality it's the return of power to the people (less government) that will move us forward. They need to realize that we're now gearing up to self-govern in the areas in and about which they find themselves so upset.
These changes will affect how societies are structured, moving towards less reliance on communal institutions, and more reliance on personal resiliency. We are shifting away from fear-based dynamics into love-based harmonious relating. Approaching 2027 is why things feel so intense and ramped up (including over the past few years) and will continue to trend this way.
